(I apologize for the “still video”, but for some weird reason, Substack doesn’t allow audio embeds on the About page—only video. So, I had to improvise, because I didn’t want an actual video of me talking here.)
Above all, I am a daughter of Christ, and I strive to honor and respect God in all that I do, including my creative endeavors.
I believe great stories don’t need explicit content, the glamorizing of evil, or the normalizing of sin to be great. In fact, I think the best stories ever written, the ones that stay with you, are those devoid of such content.
As a Christian, I choose to write respectfully, but also to show human life through a lens of truth, which means sometimes writing about difficult topics that are not sugar-coated or sanitized.
What you will not find in my books:
𓂃🪶Graphic sex
𓂃🪶Excessive cursing
𓂃🪶God’s name used irreverently
𓂃🪶Any use of AI in my writing
I’m a New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and #1 Amazon best-selling author. I’m also an international bestseller and award winner. I began self-publishing in 2011, and later, with the success of my publishing efforts, I landed a top agent and signed several titles with traditional publishers. My works have been translated into over twenty languages and have been optioned for film.
I have published in a variety of genres in the past decade, but my focus now is on Fantasy, Dystopian/Post-Apocalyptic, and my newest project, Middle Grade Christian.
If you would like to drop me a personal note, you can message me here on Substack or send an email to jredmerski@yahoo.com. Be sure to subscribe to this publication if you want to stay up-to-date on all book-related news.

A paid subscription is unnecessary to get 100% of the content I provide—even my free serialized novels—but I would be forever grateful if you’d like to support my work with a small monthly or yearly subscription, or even a one-time donation. Financial support, no matter how small, will allow me to afford to pay cover artists for book cover styles that I can’t create myself.
But all support, whether financial or just liking, sharing, commenting, and restacking posts, is very much appreciated!
I’m happy to have you here. 😊
